Starting October 9th, 2024, all new Monitech clients are required to enroll in Monitech Plus. We will discontinue enrollment in MIMS; instead, clients will now install the QT2 device rather than the MIMS QT1. The OT2 functions the same way as the L250. Please see the attached device image and the handbook for your reference.
Existing clients will continue with MIMS for the time being, while all new clients will be enrolled in Plus. The enrollment process will be similar to LifeSafer. The Plus login that will be used is the same login credentials as QuickStart. There will be a new rate structure starting Monday, and SOPs will be updated with the latest enrollment information.
New Installed Rate Structure:
· Pre 2012 Vehicle: $99
· 2012 - Present Vehicle: $199
· Calibration Fee: $25
For Service
We will have clients in both MIMS and Monitech Plus. Plus clients will be handled slightly differently when it comes to different processes such as override codes. However, all Monitech Plus clients will follow the same guidelines as LifeSafer clients when it comes to processes.
SOP
· Select the proper SOP based on what system your client is in.
Client Override Codes:
·QT2 – Monitech Plus: Follow the same guidelines for override codes that LifeSafer clients do. Client’s that are in Plus will not have the ability to override their device until their next appointment like they do with the QT1 MIMS device.
For the QT2 Agents can provide codes as needed for clients to go to their scheduled appointment or schedule a code through the UTR
·QT1 – MIMS: Follow the same standard process
Mechanic Override Code:
·QT2 – Monitech Plus: Affidavit will still be filled out online; if a mechanic needs a code, CSG will provide Plus codes
QT1 – MIMS: Follow the same standard process.
