Plus Vehicle Swaps

There are a few extra steps that must be taken in order to properly schedule a Vehicle Swap in Plus.

Review SOP

Every state is different regarding a vehicle swap. Some states may require additional permissions, paperwork, etc. BEFORE scheduling a vehicle swap please ensure that your client is educated on what the process is. This information may delay the scheduling of the actual appointment.

Adding the new vehicle on the client's Plus account

1. Update Vehicle Info

2. Select Add Vehicle

You should be filling out the following sections:

• Year, make, and model of the vehicle.

• License plate number

• Plate Issuing state.

• Registered owner of the vehicle

• Whether the vehicle is a key start or push start (You can add this to the model of the vehicle)

• Vin number

-When adding VIN number read back phonetically and run the Vin number through the Vin check website here

Schedule by going to New IID Appointment

1. Make sure to change Reason for appointment to vehicle swap.

2. Select the new vehicle that you registered to the new account. (This section will appear under Reason for appointment.)

3. Continue to schedule as normal making sure to adhere to any scheduling instructions from the SOP.
