Mississippi CNG

Let's talk about Mississippi CNG Process.

In Mississippi we have full-service locations and then we have CNG locations.

As a refresher a CNG location is a service center that is not able to calibrate a device. They do not have equipment on hand and a device must be sent to the service center.

For the most part you are not able to send a client to the service center same day.

A device must be requesting to arrive at the service center before the client's appointment.

Now let's cover the basics of Mississippi CNG.

Disclaimer: This is not a replacement for the SOP. Please refer to the CNG/ Payment tab of the Mississippi SOP

The State of Mississippi doesn’t allow having the device sent out to the client directly if they are Mississippi required. So, any client going to a CNG location has to have the device sent to the service center.

  • We are NEVER sending this to the clients home.

MS CNG clients are required to call a week before their due date to make payment and set appointment before lockout.

  • This means that the client will be calling several days before the Service date to make a payment with you and to schedule an appointment at the service center where the device is being sent.

  • Mailer/Click N Go clients will need to be scheduled for an appointment 5 business days out from when you sent the device request.

Payment

When it comes to taking a payment for a Mississippi client, please refer to the appointment and payment tabs. There are a few things to pay attention to as you are quoting.

  1. Mississippi ordered client have a maximum servicing interval of 30 days.

  2. Client will have to pay for shipping (Not included in the Monitor line items like Iowa) Use the line item "Early service fee".

  3. There is no expedited shipping in Mississippi.

You will Submit a UTR ticket for device order request. You do so by doing the following:

  1. Go to UTR/FORMS

  2. Find "Inventory" and select "CNG Device Request."

  3. When filling out the request ticket remember that this is going to the service center so you must include the Service center information when asked.

If your client is not going to a CNG location, then you do not need to complete this process.
