AutoPay State Fees - Key Points

Updated: Mar 12

If you are reviewing this that means that you understand the basics of automatic payments. Now we're going to dive into automatic payment and state fees.

Under the Automatic payment charts on the SOP there is a description about what fees will be drafted every 14 or 30 days.

Let's review Oregon SOP

There are fees that will be auto drafted every 14 or 30 days. For Oregon this includes the following

Auto drafted every 14 or 30 days

  • Daily Monitoring FC100

  • Daily Loss Protection Plan (if applicable)

  • Reporting Fee (if applicable)

Fees paid to the Contraction at each Monitor appointment (If applicable typically in cash)

  • DP fee- Calibration service fee

In a state like Oregon there are other fees. Listed under "Other Fees" it describes the OSP fee being charged at the service center. Now the charge listed it described to be charged for every 30 days that the client receives on the device at the time of service. This is not affected by the auto draft schedule.

Collected at service center (Card)

  • State fee- OSP Fee (State fee) charged once for every 30 days the client receives on the device.

All the fees the client is responsible to pay will still be covered however it is all about how each fee will be paid that the client will need to understand. Not every state that has a state fee will work the same way that Oregon does. It is important to check the autopay charge and review how each fee is handled.
