Autopay- A basic explanation

Autopay can be tough to understand at times but with a basic understanding autopay will no longer be a challenge for you. Let's review Colorado's Autopay

When explaining autopay start with the total amount that the client would pay monthly or bi- monthly (Check the maximum interval of days in Monitor section) Please review the scenario below.

Client goes into the service center and normally receives 45 days of Monitoring at the service center. She is interested to know how autopay would change her fees.

Our Colorado client possibly pays the three basic monitoring fees and the labor fees if applicable.

The client is also DP so we would quote based on her location.

So, who do we break this up? Here is a simple template that you can follow to make sure that you are breaking down the payment properly.

The client will pay the Calibration Service fee and that is it on the day of service. According to the Paid to date on the client's account a certain amount of money will come out, that is determined by the billing cycle your client chooses, 30 or 14 days.

Autopay example- 30 days

Autopay example- 14 days

  • DP Client - Calibration Fee

Remember that the Calibration Service Fee is paid once per service. Think of it as a door fee for showing up at the service center. It doesn't affect how many days that the client gets on the device or the automatic payments.

Also, no matter what the client may walk into the service center and receive on the device, the quotes above will not change.

Here are some templates to help you organize your quote as you explain this information to the client.
